Looks like she really isn't interested in playing. She's only saying she wants to in order to not hurt your feelings, maybe she just doesn't enjoy it. I had the same problem when I was playing drums; I think you should stop asking her about it and she will most likely eventually stop playing or she may actually want to keep playing in which case she'll come ask you.

This site has a lot of reading lesson plans created by student teachers. They have to test their plans in real classrooms. Worksheets for reading are not very useful or motivating for students. The website has information on many aspects of learning to read.
