Anyone know of one good site that has "What's going on" each day of the month?

We Answered:

This is a great "one-stop for everything related to school-age care"! This website is dedicated to the before -and -after school professional; however, anyone working with children in pre-k or the classroom will also find useful information here!

Some of the features offered are great monthly "doing the days", an organized activity links page, poems, quotes, tips, articles, community service/RAK ideas ---and best of all...a fantastic talk forum!

Professional caregivers -both new and highly experienced-are sharing ideas on everything from games and contests - to the challenges of shared space.

How much time do teachers spend creating lessons?

We Answered:

I'm a second year high school teacher. The school I work at does not require "formal" written lesson plans. So the extremely long, detailed lesson plans I had to write in college and during student teaching isn't really necessary anymore. For my job, I just have to keep a lesson plan book basically just outlining what each class will be doing that day, so it doesn't take too much time. Of course, there are worksheets, powerpoints, etc. that must be made to accompany the lesson. I usually spend at least an hour... sometimes longer on a new lesson. But once your lessons are basically made, you just need to tweak them the next time you use them.

how to teach the alphabetical and other simple stuff for grade one EFL ?

We Answered:

Firstly i think you ought to brush up on your own spelling. 3 mistakes in 1 paragraph! Surely the kids deserve better.
