Ida Said:I am undertaking a 20 minute micro teach on alcohol units. Does anyone have a lesson plan available for this?
These might be of some help.
Reginald Said:Programming Lesson Plans or Course Material?
Frances Said:Programming lesson or course material?
We Answered:I think you need to do a basic teacher training course. I suggest you look at your local college and find out if they do a C & G level 1 as you can do it in about a term .. This will at least give you a basic insight.
Jose Said:What is the best way to plan a 3 hour EFL lesson?
We Answered:Yes, it can be hard to move from the environment of a CELTA, where you spend hours stressing about one lesson to a situation where you have loads of lessons to prepare every day.
Start by making sure you're aware of the course aims and the particular needs of this group of students. This will give you a mental framework and a checklist for what needs to be done. Then, take a look at the syllabus or coursebook to see what comes in next there and figure out the lesson aim(s). Once you have those, work backwards from the end of the lesson. What do you want students to be able to do by the end? What do they need to know in order to do that? That should give you stages.
Do you work with other teachers? Try planning with them in order to learn more about how they approach the process.
