Both of those schools are great for what you are going for..if I HAD to pick one over the other, I would say Univ. of Michigan, although I know of equal amounts of musicians who went to either college. I assume you are going for voice, so if I were you, I'd take lessons from their voice faculty and just see which voice teacher suites you. They are both pretty good, Univ of Michigan might be a little bit better based on amount of employed graduates, but what's very important in finding a music school is finding teachers that you really want to learn from and who care a lot about you - so try to research the faculty there and get into contact with them.

Go to your local health department! They teach condom usage routinely, and will have lots of very good information you -- and probably free condoms, too!

The people who say universal health care has failed in Europe and Canada are lying. Yes, there are bad examples of health care there, but there are bad examples here, too.

Overall, Europeans and Canadians live longer than us, and have a lower infant mortality rate (fewer babies die at birth). That indicates to me that they are doing something right. If their system was that much worse, they would be dying younger than us, not older and would have more infant deaths, not fewer.
