Which is a better college for studying music performance/music education? (repost)?

We Answered:

I can say that one of the finest choices I can think of right is The Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio. If you really want to make it to top schools like in Juilliard, then you have to be very good at one of your musical skills. I'm warning you that this school is very competitive and heard that students are not going to be very nice there. That's what I heard from my piano teacher. Instead of fighting for top schools, the wiser decision is to pick the one that its environment is going to be most comfortable for you. Oh. By the way, I'm sure your academic score will be fine for you to get accepted into many different schools. Keep trying hard!

Ladies especially ! Writing series! Teen/drama Help!! Second book..?

We Answered:

I tend to agree with the first two Answerers; your description of the plot for the freshman year seems a bit confusing. Unless you've already written that first book in your prospective series, I'd advise you to complete it before concentrating upon the second. I've written two novels, the second of which is the sequel of the first but was written quite some time after the original. It's really difficult to concentrate upon multiple stories simultaneously. However, if you are simply hoping to plan your entire sequence in advance of beginning to write, there is no rule against that! If you do, in fact, have two characters named Britney and Brittney, you really do need to give one of them an entirely different name. In your proposal for sophomore year (the relationship between Brittney and Ke'Yante -- unique name -- you can have Brittney potentially corrupting the "good" guy. Perhaps she does not really love him but is only using him while he totally cares for her. Meanwhile his friends from the anti-bully squad can be endeavoring to make him see reality, futilely; he is entirely enamored of Brittney who is making him believe that she adores him while actually manipulating him. Also, you could have one of the anti-bully girls be sincerely in love with Ke'Yante, but he can not reciprocate or even feel her love for him. Brittney must somehow reveal accidentally what a venomous wench she really is, hurting Ke'Yante dreadfully. Eventually, the girl who truly loves him can attempt to repair his psychological wounds. Depending upon whether you plan to write a third novel of junior year, the loving girl need not be successful in causing Ke'Yante to love her in return; he may still love Brittney hopelessly, or she may have cast a "spell" over him -- to be continued in the next book in the series...

How can I plan this so that I am done by May 26th?

We Answered:

You have nine weeks until May 27th. Choose the subject you think is the most difficult for you. You will want a large quantity of time for this, so you can truly grasp it. You could do one lesson of algebra everyday starting today and be done in 5 weeks( five lessons/week). You could do one lesson of Spanish everyday and be done in a little over 7 weeks. I would also start on the biology with one lesson per day, then it would be done in about 6 weeks. You could leave world history until April 26th and do one lesson every weekday, so you would still have a few days if you get behind. The latest you could leave honors english would be April 20th if you do one lesson every weekday. Your health lesson could be done in your free time on a weekend or something.
I got a booklet from the college I am currently attending and there was research that shows doing multiple subjects per day allows the student to absorb more of the information. So, instead of just concentrating on biology one day, switch it up. This will prevent you from getting bored quickly (although I can't say you won't be bored at all :D), and you will learn more. This also allows you the weekends to do whatever you want to. I would also think about picking up a cheap planner to keep track of what you have done and what you need to do everyday. Get one of the daily planners, not the monthly because you need a lot of space to write your assignments down. I have been an internet college student for two and half years and this is how I do it. It can't be too bad because it keeps me on the dean's list. Hope this helps.

Why Are Planned Parenthood Workers So Rude?

We Answered:

You were a victim of one of the biggest problems within the Medical-Nursing profession. Many people who are in that field, are not suited for it. The goal of the Public Health care providers, is to instill confidence in patients to come to our clinics to be treated, thus a break in the transmittal chain! Putting individuals who do not have any sense to support these programs, is like encouraging individuals infected NOT to get treatment. Many in the Health Care field, go there 'for all the wrong reasons' such as Money and Self inflated EGO! There are an undetermined number of people who are walking transmitters of STD's and don't know it, or don't know that they need care! People who talk down to unfortunate individuals who have STD's, are a more serious problem than the STD! STD is found in all types of people, people with Millions in the bank, people who rub elbows with the Kennedy's, people who are Doctors and Nurses, etc. It is the responsibility of each and every Health Care provider to assist the patient with STD, regardless of how they obtained it. I am sorry you had a double whammy, of an sexual assault and STD. It is not uncommon that those two unfortunate experiences go together.
While in the 'Service' I worked in the VD Control Team in the Panama Canal for a year, and I realized that our purpose was to try to control of STD, not to make a victim feel belittled, so That I could feel like a 'big shot'. Unfortunately, not all who work in the field, have learned to have compassion and humility, for they could be the next victim of STD. I wish you well, and am truly sorry you ran into some of the Nursing misfits! GOD Bless you, and may the Lord watch over you!
