Some times we used to face these situations in our life. But the greatness lies when you overcome that problem. Getting A grades in easy subjects and those subject taught well is not a great thing. You should atleast go through a subject that is not taught well.

I am a chemistry lecturer and was unable to get good grades when I was in my Intermediate. Do you know I got only 43% marks in my first year undergraduation but improved later on and got prestigious national scholorship in this subject. This is just because I faced this subject.

There is a way around. You have to go through good books. Take the online help like you are taking on yahoo. There are so many good site to explain like a teacher. For example www.chem1.com .

Assuming here that your story is anywhere near true ... I would say she likes to flirt. Teachers get body slammed HARD for being naughty with students. I highly doubt she will act on it. She may just enjoy the flirt and know that you want her.

I would read the story, think of how you feel about it, and promote the lessons in it with something that gives the children a chance to act these out after you read it. I would use aspects of dramatic play because children can negotiate with each other acting as fish with the morals of the story fresh. You would be doing observations of different children receiving different lessons. Its interesting that this story is the choice because there is a bit of controversy of what the true theme is. Is it fair play and community, or is it aspects of socialism. Some might neglect looking into this but I am sure your dramatic play will display a little divergence of the moral of the story. I think the story does contain an amazing message that offers the tone of helping others who have less and this is needed. Your teaching could support the theme as it is read but with dramatic play it can support individual interpretation as honest representations.
