How about bats? Read Stellaluna by Janell Cannon.
Follow up with Bat activities from this site: http://www.kidzone.ws/animals/bats/activ…

Or seeds. . .read The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle.
Follow up with a seed dissection. . .soak lima beans overnight. Kids can then split them open and see the baby plant hiding inside, ready to grow.

Looking for lesson plan for kindergarten: demonstrate the effects of the force of gravity on objects?

We Answered:

It's going to be hard to have kindergarteners understand what gravity is.

I would take a large ball, and a small ball and explain that the ball that is larger has more gravity because it has more mass.

Gravity is a pulling force, and the more mass an object has, the more gravitational pull it has.

With objects like Earth, they are so massive that they release an incredible amount of gravitational force, which is what pulls everything inward.
