looking for a lesson plan for pre kindergateners?

We Answered:

The best you can do is go to a local school and ask about their kindergarten curriculum. Every school is different, so it'll be even better if you go to a school where you plan to enroll your child later.

sunday school lessons for "unity" for pre-schoolers. also activities?

We Answered:

I would look in Acts. The scripture about the coming together or Christ's church. Also, I Corinthians 13, "The Love Chapter," is good. There is a lot of warm, touchy feely stuff there that little ones can understand and makes them feel good about their unity in Christ together.

Is running a pre school in the Philippines difficult? Can I do it?

We Answered:

I have never taught in the Phillipines but I have taught preschoolers. You'll want to check the laws as far as what rules and reviews there are for preschools in the country to start with. In the US there are TONS of rules. As far as the kids themselves, I prefer teaching the younger bunch, and I've taught from 2-12. They have such energy and are excited about EVERYTHING. I love that. Best of luck, you are right about the amount of info that is on the internet, you can easily get all you preschool teaching info and stuff on the internet. I recomment http:/www.starfall.com for alphabet and beginning reading if the language is english.

What are some good lesson plans to teach a pre-schooler his alphabet?

We Answered:

There are some easy rewards that you can give him to recognize his work. Sometimes this helps...my daughter liked getting stars. I xeroxed a bunch of stars and would give her one whenever she did some work. She could exchange them for a treat when she got something like ten or twenty-five.
Or you could try doing the homework in a different way. What about spraying shaving cream in a pan, smoothing it over, and writing the letters with that? Or spelling the letters with food (like making a slice of cantelope into the letter C)?
