Lesson Plans Teacher

Jane Said:

is there a website for free where it has teacher lesson plans and it has the script for the teacher?

We Answered:

There are tons of websites that have lesson plans and lesson ideas. I've never seen one with any kind of a script for the teacher, though. Granted, I've never seen a teacher that taught from a script before. Teaching isn't just reciting a script.

That aside, I've seen some good lesson sites for English teachers.
www.awaytoteach.com is a great one, and there are also lesson plans about Shakespeare on the Folger Shakespeare Library website- www.folger.edu.

Technology teacher in need of lesson plans?

We Answered:

Here's a link to "Zombie Teaches Typing," a game that can be played online: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/43…

I used to have students type to music, also. For example, you can do most used words or letter patterns. The combination th is awesome for building speed and proficiency. Start with th th th th then go to the the the, then go to then then then, etc. If you do it to music (whatever the students choose. . . you could have them take turns as disc jockeys) it's fun and you'll get "buy in."

Any good teacher lesson plans sights?

We Answered:

Here are some quality websites:

(This woman has had this site for at least 8 or 9 years, maybe longer!)

You have to pay to belong to this site, but you can get some of their things for free; check out their free trial offer. I do belong to this site - I think it's about $30 a year; they have lots of printables.

There really are a lot of websites with lesson plans. To narrow down your search, be sure to type what you are looking for in quotes in the search box:
"13 Colonies lesson plans"
"5th grade lesson plans"
"lesson plans + 5th grade"

Hope that helps!

Primary school teacher lesson plans?

We Answered:

It usually depends on your level of experience and your district's requirements. At my district, I can write "Monday - life cycle of butterfly - read "from caterpillar to butterfly" Tuesday - review story from yesterday, students complete flannel activity labeling life cycle of butterfly, then color worksheet. Wednesday - begin life cycle mobiles. Thurs - continue mobiles, Friday - assessment"... but I have worked at other districts that wanted the standards listed for each activitity and so much detail that you write every word you say and what your expected response from the student would be. It also depends on if you are using text based lessons or not... some teachers only write p. 22 on Mon, p. 23 on Tues, p. 24-25 on Thurs, etc.

You can search for lesson plans plus whatever your topic would be, or you can try this link...
