need help for traveling lesson plan?

We Answered:

I did a unit with my kindergartners (ages 3-5) called 'Around the World'. We looked at a globe and identified where we are, and where other countries ( ie - where is your mother/grandmother/etc from?)
Then we read a story about what people eat in different parts of the world, and discussed our favorite foods.
This was followed by students thinking about where they would want to go on vacation and how they would get there -- this required some critical thinking, as you can't take a car from the US to Japan.
I had them draw pictures of where they wanted to go, along with a brief written explanation (if possible, of course).
You could add to this, and even go as far as making different foods, which would add a science element in there.

How do you/plan to integrate interactive whiteboards into literacy and numeracy lessons?

We Answered:

Can't answer the numeracy part, but it is easy to integrate interactive whiteboards in a literacy class. Pretty much, just treat it like a large piece of chart paper. What I have done in the past is have students do a scavenger hunt for figurative language in poetry. Students had to find examples of metaphor, simile, personification etc.., in a packet of selected poems. Then, when we shared our findings, students were able to put their examples on the board. I had created a chart on a word document that was being projected onto the whiteboard and students copied what was on the whiteboard onto their own handout of the chart.

Lesson Plans/Programs - HSIE/SOSE - LIteracy for learning?

We Answered:

it is called ''notes of lesson''. Generally, a teacher of any subject will write about the lesson to be taken. In this notes of lesson, the contents will be subject, what for the lesson, what it says and how to teach and how to make understand etc., The teacher will have it with him/her. After finishing the class, the notes of lesson should have an entry about the lesson taken. ok.. why not you have such a note book and have details on it. it will show your ability to read, write and also your understanding power in each subject lesson. Generally, it will be followed to gain knowledge of lesson and it will yield good results in scoring marks if you are a studant.
