Nursery Lesson Plans

Delores Said:

When to start on nursery room?

We Answered:

You sound just like me and my husband! I would not ever want to burden my family or friends with things I need to purchase to care for my child. I personally hate showers, I know some love them and what not but for what they truly mean I hate them!

Ok, with that being said, you can start anytime you are ready. With my 1st I was a stay at home mom and very crafty so i kept my pregnancy filled with projects and collecting everything I needed for my baby and my husband and I had so much fun doing it! If someone wanted to get us something I would leave it up to them, some got a wipey warmer and blankets and outfits and diapers and things like that but no one got anything we really needed so I was very glad I took the responsibility and did it myself, saved me a ton of stress toward the end when I didn't want to be stressed!

honor your parents lesson plans?

We Answered:

I have plenty of articles I could give you, but unfortunately that's not possible. I would approach it from 2 ways. 1st and foremost as a biblical commandment from God. Remember it's "the first command with a promise that it may go well with you". Then you should approach it showing the benifits of listening to your parents. Obviously these will need to be basic principles of safety, and guidance for a sucessful future. Mom and dad have been there done that, and that's why God tells us to listen to them. Something like that.
Yes, they are plenty old enough to understand these things. As a child care professional for over 11 years I've had experience with this age, and in the religious setting. At the age of 3 I prayed and put my trust in God when I was in the hospital. (It took my sister longer to have that kind of trust in God, so every kid's different.) In other words, kids are capeable of having a relationship with God, and now's the best time to start to foster this relationship.

Wendy Said:

Is this art lesson suitable for nursery age children (age <5)?

We Answered:

Jsut be carefull that they do not eat the egg shells. And technically you shouldnt force them to paint the sky blue and the ground brown, jsut model and let them do it their way.
All in all sounds like a fun and creative project.

Go, Go, Go!!!
Transportation Song/Rhyme by Karen Rupprecht & Pam Minor

How can you get where you want to go
You can go fast or you can go slow
You can go high or you can go low
There are so many ways to go go go

You can go high in an airplane
Or low underground in a subway train
You can go fast in a racing car
Or walk very slowly and get just as far

That’s how you get where you want to go
You can go fast and you can go slow
You can go high and you can go low
There are so many ways to go go go
There are so many ways to go go go
Go go go go go go go go go go go go go

Need ideas for the first day of VBS nursery class? Please help.?

We Answered:

Ask them each to say their name and then pretend to be an animal that either best descrbies them OR that has te same first letter as they have in their name. It's fun, they get to pretend and its silly. You go first and make it really silly be a kanagroo or something and jump around and make them laugh.
GOOD LUCK
