Small Group Activity Lesson Questions any Help please.?

We Answered:

Sorry, but it's late on a Sunday night and I don't have time to help. I will help you in this way though......I taught kindergarten for 22 years, but within just the first few days I learned that it takes more time and preparation than I had thought. I don't know what you did over the weekend or how long you have had this assignment, but it is very bad judgment on your part for you to ask this question this late, then sit there answering others questions as you wait for someone else to do your work for you. Yes, I looked to see if you were answering questions before I replied to this one. IF you plan to be a teacher I would suggest you start taking it more serious NOW.
Sorry for the lecture, but I felt you needed it. I wish you luck on your activity, and even more luck in the future.

how can i create a lesson plan with a three year olds on painting activity, include learning ojectives, supplie?

We Answered:

I did this just the other day.

I taped a huge piece of butcher paper to the floor, and put some paint on plastic trays and had the children paint. They stepped in it and used their hands. They had so much fun, they were slipping and sliding everywhere.

Its a pretty messy activity but well worth it. After it dried, i taped to a wall and above it i put "Little Picasso's"

You'd just need butcher paper, paints, tape and plastic trays.

This uses your senses, its creative, and can be cognitive if you name the colors or body parts they are using, it also could be a physical or gross motor, they'd be stepping into the paint.

Who are a couple/few artists famous for painting on 3-D objects, particularly shoes?

We Answered:

painting on shoes is not particularly 3D, depending on what you are teaching you might want to make actual 3D objects, not use a 3D object as a canvas for a 2D technique. There is nothing wrong with it, but it depends on the class how appropriate that is.

Even Magritte painted on bottles:

If you look up Sergei Isupov, you'll find he does an interesting mix of sculpture and painting.

Otherwise, Willie Cole used shoes for quite a number of 3D sculptures.
