Sean Said:

were can i find some free printable pre=k lesson plans for my daughter i want to start teaching her?

We Answered:

Possibly EdHelper.com
Heres the Link:http://www.edhelper.com/K3Themes.htm
Here you can find themes that you want for you child so you can have a choice. Just print the worksheets out and let your daughter work on them. They might not exactlly be lessons but you can explain it to her or write it down. They also have holiday themes like thanksgiving. My teacher printed us a worksheet from edhelper so thats how i got this website haha. I hope I helped you :)

Table Activity
Jumping Marbles Art
First you need a large plastic container with a lid. (I used a shallow peanut butter container.) Next cut out paper that will fit in the lid of the container. Place a few drops of paint into the container with a few marbles (be sure to observe carefully as marbles are a choking hazard) then place a very small amount of paint on the lid and pre-cut paper on the paint. (I use the paint to make the paper stick to the lid.) Place the lid on the container, flip and have the children shake. When finished, remove paper and allow to dry, and place a clean piece of paper in the lid for the next child.

Little Apple's
by Chicky-ma-ma
(sung to Ten little Indians)
One little, two little, three little apples,
Four little, five little, six little apples,
Seven little, eight little, nine little apples,
Ten red apples in the tree.
Variation: Change "little" to "red" "yellow" or "green"

Ask "if you like green apples please stand up" pause 'please take baby steps to the tables"
Then ask "if you like yellow apples please stand up"pause "please tiptoe to the tables"
Then ask "if you like red apples please stand up" pause "please whisper "I like apples"" on your way to the tables"
Finally ask "if you don't like apples please stand up" pause "please take big steps to the tables"

Tables:
Make sure the children use aprons and washable paint!!
Apple Printing
Cut an apple in half. (make a lateral cut, separating the top from the bottom) You should be able to see the "star" that the core forms in the apple. Put some red or green tempera paint in a shallow container, (a pie tin works well) and show your child how to paint the apple with the paint and press onto a piece of paper creating an apple print.

If you don't want to use paint then try this one:
Torn paper apples
Draw an apple on a piece of white paper or use a white paper plate. Tear red paper into dime sized bits (enough to cover your apple drawing.) Cut out one or two leafs for the apple from green paper. (Or if possible use real apple leaves.) Have your child glue the torn pieces of paper onto your drawing of an apple. Then have your child glue on the apple leaves.

Floor:
Have apples taped to the floor and ask the children to line up and hop along the apples back to the circle time area.

Apple Toss
Obtain a laundry basket, or a bushel basket, and red bean bags, or small red balls. Use masking tape to tape a line on the floor. Place the basket a couple of feet away from the line. Have the child stand behind the line, and try to toss the balls or bags (apples) into the basket.
You could set up a few of these so there are three children per basket so they dont have to wait too long for a turn.

Beatrice Said:

I need a serious web site that helps with lesson plans for pre K homeschooling.?

We Answered:

For pre-K homeschoolers the options are endless! Count the peas on her plate, identify letters on road signs in the car, plant a seed and let her watch it grow while talking about how you need to feed (water) it so it will grow! Everything at this age can be a learning experience!

Discuss It!
