No, it's not too early at all. We use venn diagrams in a lot of ways. You can use hula hoops and help the kids sort things into them appropriately, and we sometimes do posters and organize things like seasonal clothing on them. It's just another way for kids to sort and organize things. Some of them understand it better using venn diagrams, others understand better in other ways. Don't be afraid to try it.
