Billy Said:

I really need help with my obnoxious friend?

We Answered:

Seems to me like your friend has to get her head on straight, and stop being such an attention-seeker! Someone really needs to explain to her that she's not the centre of the universe, and that she should get a grip on reality and stop living in a little fairytale world where she can have whoever as a best friend! However, from what you've told me, she'll definitely make a scene if you or your group of friends tell her how she's been acting. But someone really needs to tell her, if you're really her best friend or good friend, she will understand that she's getting annoying. But when you tell her, don't go off at her, but tell her maturely and calmly. I hope everything works out for you, that situation is tricky.
Hope I helped.

UK Teachers: have I the right to see the materials and planned content of sex education lessons?

We Answered:

You have the right to be kept fully informed about what is taking place in your child's classroom. Furthermore, you have a duty to cultivate a good teacher/parent relationship and work in partnership with your child's school. Please have a look at the framework for personal, social and health education and citizenship at the different key stages. Through PSHE pupils gain the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to lead confident, healthy, independent lives and to become informed, active, responsible citizens. Pupils are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities and experiences across and beyond the curriculum, contributing fully to the life of their school and communities. In doing so they learn to recognise their own worth, work well with others and become increasingly responsible for their own learning. They reflect on their experiences and understand how they are developing personally and socially, tackling many of the spiritual, moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up. They also find out about the main political and social institutions that affect their lives and about their responsibilities, rights and duties as individuals and members of communities. Hard facts indeed! Right i'm off to change a light bulb!

Debra Said:

Am I mentally unstable?

We Answered:

Yeah, you're mental. I'm not a professional and don't know what kind of disorder that is, but it's definitely far enough away from "normal" to indicate some sort of serious problem. Show that list to a shrink.

For a PSHE lesson I have to plan a wedding on a budget. How much would...?

We Answered:

If this helps at all I can tell you what my wedding cost me (this was just in October)
A buffet was 11.95 per plate
Our hall rental was free because we were members but if we hadn't been members it would've cost about $250
A sit down dinner goes anywhere from like 12 per plate up to 25 depending on what you want serve
and our alcohol bill was close $400 but we also had a 20% discount from the PLCB and had 200 rsvp's - check online for wine prices!
