Responsibility Lesson Plans

Lewis Said:

What are the attributes of "responsibility"?

We Answered:

Responsibility is in alignment with commitment to a particular duty. Responsibility involves trust in a person's ability to do what they say they will do.

Responsibility is trusting in someone's character and intentions.

How do I teach English from the basics?

We Answered:

I would start with simple sentences... Like you were teaching a 3 -year-old how to speak. Simple words like, "hello", and phrases, "My name is..." something like that.

Carole Said:

Need the input, feedback and advice on this one!?!?

We Answered:

A. It's not just "this one" in your non-question
B. You ask five questions in your "Group Discussion"
C. It appears you simply want someone else to do your . . . .

Sorry, but I think a professional needs to handle your project.

Jordan Said:

Need input of professional Educators on this one!?!?

We Answered:

Not much help for your discussion but this is an example of why I think we should hire MBA's instead of teachers to run schools - and let the teachers teach. She'd quickly be fired for incompetence, if she had gotten hired in the first place.

I would question why this discussion has no points addressing the needs of the students. We've addressed the needs of the teacher, her supervising teacher, her peers, and the administration. What about the students? Is it possible that if we worried more about her performance with regard to her students (correct her poor lesson issue) that the concerns among her peers and administration would resolve themselves?

From an organizational behavior perspective - since the matter was brought up here - is it possible that she is honestly being "picked on" because of her relation to the founder? If it were a true non-issue, it wouldn't have been mentioned in the case. Obviously, someone has a problem with that.

All of your discussion points seek a solution without first identifying the underlying true problem. No successful resolution will come from this plan of action.

Pros and cons of being a nanny?

We Answered:

Pros: It's really great money. Nanny's make alot more than a normal babysitter. Usually about 15 dollars an hours where I live. If it's a parttime job usually about 12. It's also not too high stress of a job.

Cons: It's really hard keeping kids occupied for long amounts of time. Since a nanny is not a babysitter most parents don't let their children watch t.v or movies while the nanny is there. Some kids are great at occupying themselves, while others need alot of attention. Your also there for long amounts of time depending on the age of the kids. You might also be asked to clean, I've had that happen alot. Obviously you'd be required to clean the dishes that you used, but alot of times I've been asked to do laundry as well.

I would reccomend that you try and get alot of babysitting jobs instead of being a nanny. Nannying isn't really all that flexible. Most parents want you there everyday in the morning through the afternoon. You'd have much more flexibility if you just worked a few times during the week for a few people, rather than having one family the entire week.
