one thing you can do is provide your materials in their language as well as english. provide materials that will help them learn english, such as books on tape (ones with both languages) or videos.you can also learn the vital words and phrases that you use in the classroom in their language and provide handouts for how they can ask common questions (like may i go to the restroom) in english.
for small children i recommend using simple language and materials with visuals.
