TEFL teaching question... lesson plans? We Answered:
You are over-thinking this.Go and get a job. The majority of jobs will simply put you in the classroom and you'll teach from a book so there will be no need - at least to begin with - to lesson plan.
My simple advice would be to stop procrastinating and go get a job and enjoy yourself! :)

TEFL lesson plan hobbies Vocabulary and to review adverbs of frequency for elementary class 45 minutes? We Answered:
Well, first you want to try and combine the two ideas. Choose the adverbs that you want to teach and list them in order. One Japanese student I had made a list -- "always = 100% often =80%, but I don't know if you'd get away with that. There are a lot of them, so you need to narrow it down to about 6 or 7 for the purposes of your class.(Often, frequently, occasionally, seldom, rarely, never, etc.) Eventually you can make a Q&A drill using the hobbies and the adverbs. "Do you like to read?" "No, I rarely read." or Yes, etc. etc.
Introduce the subject by getting them to understand spare time -- what they do when they don't have to work or be at school. I don't know if you have access to any ESL books, but the old pairwork books include interviews about hobbies and adverbs of frequency. You might find something on an ESL site -- there are lots of them. Google ESL hobbies activities or vocab or something. Hopefully you can find some pictures of popular hobbies. Pictures are a good way to introduce elementary vocab. In 45 minutes you can't inundate them with too much new stuff or they won't remember it.
They WILL get the concept of hobby if you explain it correctly, and in addition to what you bring in,
you may be able to elicit some from them. I'd do it this way: Presentation, spare time and hobby vocab. (with pictures if possible. Q&A Drill:
"Do you have any hobbies?" "Yes, I like to........." You ask a few and then they ask each other.
If you want, you could do a "find someone who" information gathering activity. When you've got that settled, introduce the adverbs, using the hobbies as a prompt. "Juan, you like to play soccer. Do you play soccer often?" etc. If you drill and make sure everyone in the class speaks, the lesson will fly by. If you give homework you can get them to fill in a written drill or write a few sentences about their hobbies and how often they do them.

Can anyone please help on my TEFL lesson plan on giving/asking directions? We Answered:
I would use the PPP model - Present, Practise, Produce.Elicit the language that might be used, then have the students practise it - drilling and role plays. Finally, have them produce scenarios of their own using the language. I would make a map of a town or give them a map of your own town, and have them direct each other to/from places on it. You could write up some sets of directions on the board (or read them out) and have students figure out where they end up.
There is a really good website called www.onestopenglish.com that I really like for TEFL lesson plans and methodology advice. Good luck!

TEFL lesson plan hobbies and to review adverbs of frequency? We Answered:
I'm a little confused as you say "an" elementary learner does that mean there is only one or a class of them?Find out what hobbies they have and how often they do them. Basically a review of adverbs and set-up for practise exercise. Use flash cards to give them a hobby to have if they don't have one and get them to act out a conversation in small groups (Role play) extend the

Has anyone out there create a lesson plan for TEFL course I to I on module 9.4?We Answered:
a) why not actually work out the answers for yourself instead of cheat?b) if you are in trouble, ask your tutor (if you can)
How would you feel as a qualified teacher if your class just copied each others' homework?
