If this is going to be over the course of a few hours or the day, I would do math, reading, science, social, and language activities.
Examples
Math - count 5 bears with help
sort the blue and red bears
reading- copy our names with laminated names and markers
Look at magazines
science - describe the clouds
discuss the weather
social - talk about feelings.
make emotion faces - mad, glad, sad
language - sing finger plays or other songs.

We Answered:

We did swim lessons when she was about 12 months old (super fun - our daughter LOVES the water!). Next, we did "gymnastics", which was also pretty fun. The next thing we are going to do is a music class, and then when she turns 2, there is a dance class I know she will love.
