Water Lesson Plans

Terrence Said:

The project theme is "rhythm". can a science lesson on water cycle be planned on this ? if so, how ?

We Answered:

actually yes... because if you look at this (the link) you see that the definition of rhythm is a movement or variation characterized by the regular recurrence or alternation of different quantities or conditions: the rhythm of the tides... and if you think about it and look at the water cycle (in the second link below) you can tie them together quite easily... just think of them both a continuous cycle that has no beginning or ending

Lesson plans for 'Safety' for 5-6 graders?water safety maybe?

We Answered:

Water safety is important in a summer program. What if you write out the most important rules, put the kids into groups and have them roleplay what they would do? (Without the water, of course) Or design a quiz show called "What Should You Do?" and find out what the kids already know.

Ellen Said:

suggest me a class room activity about waterair or enviorment pollution??or a lesson plan about this subject.?

We Answered:

It depends on which grade you are teaching?
With middle school, you can make a PowerPoint which has included the pictures and images environment solution. In class activities should be divide them into small groups and ask them to give out as many ways to protect the environment as possible.
With High school students, you can talk about specific kind like recycle trash. You can have a fun class activity like giving them several kind of trash and ask them to put on the right bin (recycle or non recycle)
I hope this helps somehow.

Where do water falls come from?

We Answered:

Um...well first you take some water, add in a cliff of some sort, then lastly you sprinkle on some gravity. Voila! You have yourself your very own waterfall. It has water, and guess what? It's falling!
