Sounds exactly like me during my school days. Firstly I'd say your problems are probably emotional rather than physical and I think it may be because your life isn't going where you want it to be going. I think you need to ask yourself what you really want to do with your life.

Ballet will get you back into shape and then you can do jazz or anything else. Your jazz will be weaker without the ballet. Ballet is the basis for it all.

You will need;

Jazz -
Hand and feet co-ordination
Minimal flexibility

Tap -
Speedy feet
Able to think fast and good memory

Ballet -
Flexibility
Strength (Legs, feet, lower body)

I do Ballet and I am certainly not flexible.
I have only had a couple lessons and I am definitely continuing.
I have not started since I was little.
But I get with it just fine.
Except, groin pains, pulled ligaments, frustration is to be expected from Ballet.
It's a hard choice, but it's all up to you.
