Okay I'm a Freshman next year!

My Middle School actually starts in 5th grade:

5th Grade -- I hated all of my teachers and the middle school was in a different building. All of the 8th graders were very intimidating and I wasn't used to the drama so I was very shy and I was afraid to talk to teachers. My grades were terrible! (2 C's, 3 B's, 1 A)

6th Grade -- I was basically used to the school by then. I was so ignorant to the drama still. I had the most friends in 6th grade. I had between 30 and 40 friends who I would hang out with on a weekly basis outside of school. This was a lot considering my 6th grade class only had 60 girls. My grades were at the top that they had ever been in (6 A-'s). Basically I didn't care about anything and I was still just a kid loving everyday.

7th Grade -- This was definitely the worst year! My grades were mediocre (1 C, 3 B's, 3 A's). I had just begun taking Latin along with English, French, Spanish, Science, History, and Math. Latin was hard for me at the end of the year, but extremely easy towards the beginning. Basically I had lost all but one of my friends for choosing to stay with a bitchy ex-best friend of mine. Guy drama was incredibly terrible (after I realized my bitchy ex-biffer wasn't doing me good and I dropped her, she turned the boys against me) and so was just drama in general! I couldn't stand all of the fights! It was TERRIBLE!

8th Grade -- This is definitely the best year! My grades are back up (2 B's, 5 A's). I am in Honors French and Honors Math this year! I have a lot of my friends back (15 best friends, 25 lunch-friends out of the 60). My clique is 2nd most popular, I have all of my guy-friends back, my bitchy ex-best friend left because she failed Math and was kicked out, I'm doing well in my sports, we're the leaders of the Middle School, and there is no one who hates me :]

All of this being said, Lower School had some of the best days in my entire life. Lower School was incredible without the drama (I go to an all-girls school where everything is 100x worse!), no worrying about boys, no worries about grades, or anything else! I was just an ignorant kid having fun.

Don't try to be popular. Stay true to yourself, and don't act like anyone else just to get others to like you. I know these sound cliche, but it's true. If you act like someone you're not, when the time comes to make decisions for yourself, you won't be able to. Just please remember that you only go through middle school once, and you should make sure you have fun and not get caught up in popularity and gossip wars.

Be yourself but make sure you have a good strong group of friends :) also enjoy the year and don't follow the popular kids and if you get lucky to let it go to your head treat ppl even losers the way you wanna be treated.

No not really. I mean, my arm was a little sore for a few hours but it went away. And the doctor doesn't do weird things to you. It's just like when you get a normal shot.
