is this a book report ?

We Answered:

is this a good review? well, i think you might want to drop a few hints about the resolution, without giving too much away. your first sentence is kind of redundant, so try to improve things like that, as well as punctuation and capitalization errors. sometimes, it seems like you're jumping from one thing to another with explaining, so you might want to further explain some things. and, usually in a book review, you put your opinion at the end. you can look at actual book reviews for examples.

(teenage boys) Would you date a girl like me?

We Answered:

Youre 13, you really DONT need to be planning your life out like you are. You arnt emotionally or physically mature enough to make decisions based on the age you will be in ten years time. In your 20's you might meet a guy fall in love and get married, and WANT kids.
I know its just that your young, and you wont like being told that, but im 17 nearly 18 and i know how i was when i was 13, and its alot different to how i am now. Ive matured alot and it changes how you think. You sound perfectly fine the way you are, and i think you just need to let time take its course, and not plan youre life out..

I hope this helps!

I need help with my story......ideas?

We Answered:

Damn sounds like an interesting story. I definitely think Aaron's mother should show up at one point. Or Aaron could end up going to heaven and seeing his mother there. Either that or Aaron goes back to earth, breaks up with his whiny girlfriend and gets with Alexandria (that is, if you haven't already thought of an ending).

The people sent to Purgatory were obviously sent there to be tested as to whether they deserve to be sent to heaven, hell, or given a second chance on earth. So the three protagonists could go on a journey in Purgatory throughout which they are offered a wide variety of choices that test their moral values. If they make any wrong choices, they will immediately be sent to hell. If they make an "okay" choice, they can continue the journey. And if they make the right choice, they are offered the choice to go to either earth or heaven. Either Dillon or Shyla should be sent to hell at one point, thus making the journey more suspenseful.

An alternate idea (or you could combine the two??) would be that in order to choose which gate they want to enter, they have to find an answer (like the secret of life or something). Everyone in Purgatory is only given one guess, and if they answer wrong they are sent to hell.

Love where you're going with this story and who knows, maybe I'll see in Borders one day :D

Line memorization tips? Last minute, important, PLEASE HELP...?

We Answered:

i would suggest trying not to sweat it, but i know when you're nervous, you're nervous and there's not really a way around it! but i would first suggest understanding what you are saying. put it in your own words first, so if you do ever get stuck you at least know the basic point you are trying to make. but if you want to feel really solid with it, i would suggest a method that has a name i can't remember (ha ha...). start by breaking up the line, maybe like this:

Kim McAfee of Sweet Apple Ohio -- has just been chosen from -- the thousands of Birdie fans -- to give a farewell kiss to Conrad -- before he leaves for the army.

what i think helps is if you repeat the first section as many times as you need to, while really thinking about the words you are saying. speaking out loud helps if you are auditory or kinesthetic learner. once you have mastered that, move on to the second section for a couple of repeats. then say both together. continue on to the third, then say all three parts together, and so on until you have completed it, all the while really thinking of what the words mean. it may take a little time, but it will help a lot if you keep going back to the beginning and saying the parts you memorized together.

sorry, my reply was rather long! i really hope this helps! just try to have fun with it! i'm sure you'll do GREAT! ;)

Am I racist for talking back in this situation?

We Answered:

I don't think your racist, I think you are a rude little shyt. It is unfortunate this woman feels this way however it has absolutely NOTHING to do with you. And if you said some shyt like that to me in my house, I would have said the same thing and you would not be welcome in MY HOME, period end of story.
