Where is the best place to live in America? We Answered:
A mystical land called Narnia. Just joking haha. The best place for you would probably be California.
P.S. Why do you hate Australia? The heat?
P.S.S. I said California because of numerous reasons, too many to list here. ((you can shoot me an email if you want me to explain further))
If you like friendly people, a safe place, and good weather, then do NOT move to the East Coast, especially the Northeast. I say this from personal experience.
and...I have a friend who moved to Australia and lasted there about two months...same reason..the heat..it was too hot there for them.

Help for Starting Middle School? We Answered:
Our school doesn't allow you to carry backpacks between classes. You put the backpack in your locker and that is where it stays while you are in class. You just end up going to your locker a little more often. Our students have about eight minutes to get to and from their classes. So you have plenty of time. Most locker have combinations that are easy enough to use
Most schools should have a day for new students to take a tour of the school. They show you the cafeteria, classrooms etc. If you are concerned or worried about your locker have your parents call the school. You can find out where you locker is located and what the combination is early. That way you can practice opening it and memorizing your combination. I always tell students to write their locker combination down in a notebook because it's easy to forget.
Hope I helped. Good luck to you!

Is it too late for me to be accepted into an Ivy League college now?We Answered:
you already asked a question like this before and let me once again elaborate on it, NO, it is NEVER too late.GPA is inflated, that is fact actually. I have been accepted into Columbia University, a lot of students with 4.0 GPAs were REJECTED because they went to Public schools where everything was fed to them by hand. At Magnet Schools
1. You need to be EXTREMELY intelligent to get in
2. You have to classes that are twice as hard as those taken in Public Schools
At your Junior year I suggest you take the SAT somewhere in March and make around a 2200 or a 2300 on it. If you put up a good Junior year like I did, you will have a shot at the Ivy League. I had a bad sophomore and Freshman year (never made the honor roll in any of them) but my Junior year I made A's and got on the Honor all 4 times. My GPA ended up being in the 3.5 range.
What got me into my college of choice was my high SAT score (I got a 2290). That was it
The SAT is the same nation wide and it judges students fairly. Ivy league school recruiters are not idiots, they know all about schools. They know Public Schools (most) are a joke and most grades can be received just by begging the teacher. Magnet Schools are on another level. Get your high SAT score, finish the Junior year strong.
Schools look MAINLY at your Junior year. Also, the people answering your question, I hate to tell you, are not Ivy League students, both are probably high school drop outs or students whom are probably going to a low ranked college.
Here is what you can do
1. Do not spend time on the internet much unless it is for school
2. Get a HIGH SAT score
3. Make sure to make A's on your classes if possible and do some extra sports.
4. Study, no alternative to it, just study.
Also, key note:
If you do not get in after your high school years, work yourself OFF in college. Get the A's and the high test scores for 2 years and then transfer to an Ivy League school of choice. Barack Obama did that (read it on Wikipedia).
Do not let people on this site get you down because most are still upset that they are not in an Ivy League school so they WANT to stop your progress, keep working, it is not over until that acceptance or rejection letter comes. Take it from me, I am going to be attending Columbia University.
Also, going to a magnet school just puts up one step above most students applying.
Feel free to message me anytime.
Edit: aww how sweet they even gave each other thumbs up, you got stalkers james!
If you gave me a thumbs up show yourself!
