Crystal Said:

Whats your take on American schools?

We Answered:

thats the biggest problem with the no child left behind act.

Joe Said:

What is the Best..................?

We Answered:

Middle School: Try the one in Little Neck Harbor, where the politicos kids go.

High School: Stuyvesant HS. Bery difficult course of study, excellent kids who are career bound in the medical top fields, ort law, etc.

College: Colombia U, or NYU (either), but if it's for pre-med and to be an MD, NYU or else, any 6 0r 7 year straight program which could incorporate the undergrad and grad work. You must check to see which Universities, Like Colombia U offer this, and it is not easy to get into.

HIGH SCHOOL HELP...(nyc residents only--sorry)?

Horatio H, Only the students really know for sure. http://www.onlinehighschoolreviews.com/New-York-High-Schools.html

Crystal Said:

what to do what to do ? please helpp cant take it anymore need desperate helpp.?

We Answered:

Parents are like pets, all come with different personalities. Some are more protective than others. But keep it cool, life is harder when you leave home, even though you have more freedom. It flies by faster as well. That little town may seem more like home after you hit the busy streets of NY and find it's not the dream town you thought it to be. NY is more dangerous, people will attack you for what little money you may have in your pocket atm. So when you get there, be sure to keep your guard up, and GL with NYU. Work hard and you will achieve ALL your dreams :)

Maurice Said:

Could I even get into med school with my sucky GPA?

We Answered:

Most med schools aren't Ivy league schools. No med schools look at high school GPA.

That said, you don't have to go to an Ivy league school to go to med school. Very few doctors in the country are ivy-league trained.

Anyway, you are in high school, and you can go to plenty of colleges with a B average. Your GPA will only become important once in college...along with your MCAT. But thats over 4 years away, so stop worrying about it. Enjoy high school... that's the most free you will be...college is ok, med school *two thumbs down*. So enjoy life while you can because from med school on, that is all you do, think about, or eat and sleep.
