there usually isnt meet the teacher at that school. i can tell you this because i am an alumni from that school. class of 07-08 so yeah there isnt.

Well it's going to be a bit different than elementary school in that there'll be kids who are your age or a couple of years older. You'll probably have different teachers for different subjects and you might not have the same subjects every day. Some schools operate on a five or six day schedule rather than mon-friday.

Because you're getting older there'll probbly be more homework and you'll be expected to write more and have harder math and science than in elementary school.

But hey it's not going to be all work either, there'll be clubs to join. Sports to play, new kids to meet, new teachers to meet.

Little secret no matter how' cool' the other kids seem or let you think they are, they're as scared as you are.

Go to school and be organized, have all your supplies ready and binders all set. Be yourself, smile, say hi, don't try and be anything you're not.

First day of school is always scary but especially as you go to a totally new school and have new experiences.

Take four or five deep breaths before you go in and focus on your breathing, your anxiety will slide away hopefully. You'll do fine I'm sure. Good luck.
