Those schools are about 45 minutes away by bus--there is not really a good way to get to them by subway since they are on the far East Side, except for CSH. I don't imagine there is much to see in them in August, since schools are closed.

You are not too far from Grand Central Terminal on 42nd Street, so wander through there. Do go to the Oyster Bar and have someone demonstrate the whispering trick in the archway outside it.

I don't know what kind of support system you have in your life, but this is bigger than you. The best option is for you to get out of the situation. Is there a way you could go to another school? Is there another school you could go to? How about a charter school, magnet school, or church sponsored school. Ask you parents to help you get out of this situation. Second, you should work with a school counselor or pastor on conflict management skills. This guy is preying on you, and you are allowing him to do it. You need to find a healthy way to deal with it.

Recognize that there is a way out and ask some trusted adult to help.
