Curriculum Middle School
Crystal Said:
Would you say this is a good math curriculum for middle school? We Answered:
This is POLITICS, dear.It looks okay, but you should look into spiral math. Many kids are coming up in spiral math now, so they are all over the place in their skills and abilities. My 7th grade son has had "everyday math (spiral math)" since kindergarten and frankly, I'm not impressed. It is difficult for parents to help their kids at home when the school is doing quanky things in quanky ways.
The county which implemented "everyday math" received a bunch of money from the company to implement it. Sadly, it did come down to politics.
