I live in NY and don't know where that is exactly, but buses will be provided. For each block/section a school bus will be assigned and pick up students at the bus stop. Also there should be a seating chart of some sort where you are given a seat on the bus. You should probably ask the school where the pick up stop is though to make sure.

Kid it'll be alright. I was just like you I was so scared to start high school (where I went to its combined with high school). I told all my cousins that I won't make any friends, I won't know anyone.

First day of school I made so much friends just standing in line to get my class schedules. I would just talk to people older then me and some were my classmates. Over the next couple of weeks I knew everyone from my class, I knew some kids who were older then me, I made so much friends that some of them were friends with my older cousins. Just by being me.

Just be yourself kid. Don't try and impress anyone. If you try to hard they'll get irritated. And not interested in you. Try to make the conversation more about them, put your attention on them, and if they ask you questions then answer them but keep it short and sweet don't go into full details and tell them an entire life story about yourself. They'll get bored.

I believe that you should make a hair style that expresses who you are. If you are a sporty type of girl, where your hair in a high ponytail, if your more of a nerd ,who also cares about fashion, where it half up half down, if your a girl "who just wants to have fun" -- where it down, and if your a person that wants everybody to know you go to school to get good grades, where a low ponytail. I know at my school we had picture day the first day of middle school- so a good idea -if that's the case, is to make sure at least 3quarters of your hair can be seen in the picture. No ponytails -- and only half up half down if you put your hair in front of your shoulders. (otherwise you look bald) - and you don't want that on your student I.D. ;) Hope this helped!
