Well, you should date when you are ready. dating can be and unsafe. and also you parents have to be cool with it also, you just don't want to date anyone, you have to TAKE YOUR TIME being you and NOT to rush things, things can get ugly if you DO NOT know the person well. So my advise is slow down, before it's to late, because you will never go back and start over. So BE YOURSELF!!!

I do not believe that any student should have homework, unless it is to complete an assignment that they did not finish in class. Exceptions to this would be an occasional project or report, and general studying.

Students already spend 7 or so hours in a classroom, and they need time to unwind when they get home-rest, relax, spend time with friends, partipate in an extracurricular activity or take up a hobby. And what about family time?

Mornings are a rush to get everyone up, fed, dressed and out the door on time. Evenings are filled with homework, supper, bathing, and getting everyone to bed in time to get up and do it all the next morning. There is very little time for other things...

Part of this rush is why we are so unhealthy. Children are not spending enough time outdoors, many families are choosing less healthy meals because they are quicker/easier to serve...

Since only poor people receive food stamps, they serve to support those in poverty, not to bring them out of poverty. Think about it: no welfare program, unless it is tied to a schooling/training or work program, does a single thing to reduce poverty. All such welfare programs do is support people a little better who are in poverty, where they remain.

yes it should be raised to 18. 18 y olds are usually more mature than 16 y olds ( even though not always..) and i clearly remember thinking at 16 how i knew everything there ever was to know about anything and when 18 rolled around I realized I really didnt.. lol
16 is just too immature and irresponsible.
