I always remember "is over of" You put the number that "is" a certain % over what it is a percent "of", set it equal to the % over 100 and cross-multiply and divide to find the number you don't know. For the first: 25 IS 20% OF what? You will be solving for the "of" number. 25/"of"=20/100. Now cross-multiply and divide. "of"=25*100/20=125. In the second, 376 IS 40% OF what? Some areas of milwaukee are dangerous, others are perfectly safe.Those locations you listed are on the northside....... which has some pretty dangerous areas.
I live on the west side of Milwaukee, and it's very nice, scenic, low crime, good schools and neighborhoods, etc. The North and South sides do have their fare share of problem areas though.
