everyone wants to be and feel accepted by the people they live around, go to school with, family, loved ones, society in general...
The facts are this is highly un likely for anyone, and even more so for gays and lesbians...
It takes a lot of self acceptance, knowledge, and experience for anyone to handle 'coming out' when the known probable response will be fear, hatred, shunning, ignorance, bullying, and a lot of negative, with maybe a couple saying it is ok with them,
So , i would say dont come out there, as you may even be asked to leave in this environment...
I would say just begin to focus on accepting you for whom ever you are, lesbian, straight, bi, or whatever you turn out to be... focus on who you are, not just who you feel sexual toward...
focus on your values, and how and where you want to be in your life in a few years, or your careere plans,etc.....
There is plenty of time for you to know what you truely are... you probably wont know for sure for some time.. maybe even much older... and it doesnt matter...
Just be you...
If you need people to talk to about this, then be careful to research and check out the person you want to talk to, find out in advance what they will do with the information, if they are pro lesbian, and if they keep things confidential and off your records...
It takes a lot to know if one can truely trust another person, even more so for lesbians and gays.
Look up and research your own views on this subject and ask yourself what you have been taught, what you feel about this subject , and what if you are a lesbian, and begin to accept yourself for however you are and get educated ....
Although it may be more difficult for a lesbian teen (or gay teen) to find resources that one can trust , they are out there....
and there are lesbian therapists , and MENTORS you can find ...
there are teen shelters for lesbians, and contact resources too
So , I would do all this, and start finding out who you can trust , and look for a mentor... here are some resources where you can begin...
It is up to you if you come out... I say wait.... at least until you are 18 or 26....
