to be honest i don't think that private schools are any better then public schools. I actually prefer public schools. did you already go to a public school? the thing about public school is since you don't have to pay anything, you can try it out for a semester or less if your mom doesn't like it, then she can start to home school you again, theres nothing wrong with tryin it, and being in the 7th grade is goin to be different then the 4th. just tell her that.

Not positive but I think if your parents went the school district office and told them the situation they might consider testing you and then allowing you to go to the next grade or just go ahead and allow you to move on since you were in a homeschool and they want you back in their pocket again. You certainly won't know until you try. When you go before the school officials make a good impression by being attentive, polite, make eye contact when speaking and listen to what they have to say with respect. Also helps to have some work samples of the 8th grade stuff you've been doing along with a nice set of transcripts from all of your grades. Be prepared to answer their questions regarding you being held back, etc...

Remember, they could put you in and then fail you again! Be prepared for that and summer school too.

try to talk with others but talk about something where u can make a conversation from but do not just budge into groups talk to kid by kid and the later on make your to smaller groups and so on also try to dress good and well good luck to ya

There are several correspondence schools for home-schooled children. The majority of them are state by state. because I don't know the state that you live in I can only tell you to google in correspondence homeschools K-12. You'll find tons of schools.

Look at the laws for your province on the Home School Legal Defense Association website. That will tell you. Canada is very homeschool friendly. In the USA, we can start homeschooling anytime. In most states, the parents have to give written notice when a child is leaving the public school system. Then the child can start homeschooling.
