Pi is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. That is, if a circle is 1 unit in diameter it is pi units in circumference.Pi is a little over three. Common approximations are 3.14 and 22/7. The Bible claims that the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter is three. The bible is wrong, but for some purposes three is an adequate approximation.
Common formulas using pi are:
Circumference of a circle: pi * diameter
Area of a circle: pi * radius^2
Volume of a sphere: (4/3) pi * radius^3
Volume of a cylinder: pi * radius^2 * height
Pi is irrational. It cannot be expressed exactly as a fraction.
Pi is transcendental. It is not the root of any polynomial expression with rational coefficients.
Pi is probably normal, which means that its digits are in a certain sense random: 1/10 of its digits are 0, 1/10 are 1, 1/10 are 2 and so on. Nobody know this for certain, though.

Have any other Conservatives been through a similar transformation? We Answered:
I hear ya brother! I was a green kid when I started in the Big 8 in 1982 (now the Big 12). I was a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat that didnt know anything other than what I was taught in school and church. Then my eyes were opened. I earned my degree, started my career, found a wife. etc. just as you listed, and now at 45 realize that this modern liberal 'feel-good' anything-goes society we're finding ourselves in is going to be the ruin of this country if its not cut off, and soon.
Removing flags from schools because the American colors are offensive to muslims?
I'm now a proud conservative, proud gun owner, proud hunter and proud Christian. And for the liberals in this forum who claim all those on the Right are 'wingnuts'...I also dont drink, dont smoke, dont do drugs, have a successful 17 year marriage and have been a licensed architect for 21 years.
Anytime you libs want to debate me, bring it ; )
