Private middle school in las vegas?

We Answered:

Here is a list of private schools in Clark County:
http://www.privateschoolreview.com/count…

Many private schools that used to accept international students don't anymore because of the hassle with the visa paperwork, and the helicopter kids that were not really staying with relatives, and had no supervision. So that might be one issue your cousin might have to deal with depending on his situation.

I'm not all that familiar with Vegas schools, but I've heard good things about the Meadows School http://www.themeadowsschool.org I don't know when the admissions process starts in Vegas, but in many cities it begins in September or October the year before you wish to attend the school, with interviews, entrance exams, visits, Open Houses, application, teacher recommendations, transcripts, etc before March, with decision letters sent out in March.

Good luck!

What Are Middle/High Schools In Las Vegas Like?

We Answered:

It depends upon the area in which a specific school is. Alot of high schools can be quite unpleasant- and the middle schools are becoming that way also. Very rigid and strict, but then again they have to be to ensure safety and keep the levels of learning up.

Phillip Said:

how are the middle schools in las vegas?

We Answered:

They are really good- but it depends on what area in Las Vegas. The ones in North Las Vegas and around that area itself they can be more tight on things like security and just the way the students are. In the more affluent neighborhoods like Summerlin, Green Valley, Henderson, Anthem, etc. the schools are much better. I went to Bob Miller Middle School a few years back (Green Valley) and yes, they did check report cards. There is a dress code too, but it's not that strict. As long as it's not crazy like ripped up clothing or mohawks you'll be fine. Same thing with the high schools. If you have any questions, just ask :)
