Tracy Said:
School is killing me and I'm very confused. Does anyone have good advice? We Answered:
First, to motivate yourself to do your work, you need to give yourself a reward. something you like. maybe make a deal with your parents. For example, if you get over a 95 average, you will get a computer or something from your parents. if you really want this computer, than you will be motivated to work hard to get your average to be a 95 (or up). my motivation is knowing that if i work hard at the end of the year, when they give out medals and trophies, that i will get one (i love medals/trophies)Second, i understand how you feel. kids always bother me. one kid who sat next to me was really annoying. i asked my parents and they told me to tell the teacher. i know this sounds like tattle telling. but i told the teacher (i was scared), and the teacher changed the kid's seat so i wouldn't sit next to him. but u know what? my teacher didn't tell the kid that i told her. so the no one ever knew it was me who got the teacher to change his seat. (well now there's another annoying kid next to me). if your teacher's nice, then i think you should tell them about this boy. especially if he's a trouble maker. then they would understand your problem knowing he's already a troublemaker in class. also, maybe your guidance counselor or dean can help you.
also (for number 2), if you can't or don't want to tell your teacher that this boy is bothering you, then you'll have to put up with it. if you ignore what he says to you, then, he'll just eventually give up. but if he knows it bothers you, then he'll keep bothering you. just act like it doesn't bother you. ignore him. act like you don't care about what he says. (i'm not very good at this, cuz i get bothered easily, but it should work)
i'm sorry but i don't know about number 3.
i hope school will be better for you. :)
