Because in middle school you are going to be there all day, and chances are that you get to stop at your locker before and after lunch. In high school you might be leaving early if your a senior, and chances are (if your lucky) you get to stop at your locker once before school and once after school. Also in high school you have more stuff to carry.

Wear the backpacks that have no wheels. If you do wear the ones with wheels, you will be SO EMBARRASSED!!! In middle school, nobody wears backpacks with wheels anymore, at least that's what I experienced. It doesn't matter what brand.
