colleges are more interested in your high school records.... not only what grades you get but also the difficulty level of the classes you take..... an A in PE for example will not weigh as highly as an A in calculus. they also look at ACT and SAT scores.... good scores can even get you great scholarships! taking higher level classes and challenging yourself (even if that means you get a B every once in a while) will pay off in the future.
