The smaller classes mean that they are for half a semester or even half of a quarter witch is 9 weeks not 18 like normal. If the longer boxes cover all the schedule that means the year long or the whole semester, depending on how your school does it.

You should only need a schedule if you have a child there. And, if you have a child enrolled there the school would have contacted you to pay fees and to pick up the schedule.

I'm a teacher, not a secretary, but at our school ALL staff have access to ALL student schedules using our gradebook/attendance software. I would check with the counselors to see whether these other people really cannot get the schedules without you, or if they are just looking for a shortcut.

If they can access the schedules but are repeatedly asking you to do it, perhaps some training is needed: here's how to do it, please do not ask our secretary as he/she has a million other things to do! I'm betting that your predecessor was ok with that request, and everyone's assuming that you will be, too. That policy will need to come from the principal or someone else who has the power to say "Here's how it's gonna work from now on!"

If there really is no other way for everyone to get the information, then do let your boss know how much time it's taking and ask if that's really what he/she wants you to prioritize?
