I had a friend that lost a baby and one of the mothers from a support group had lost a baby to SIDS as well and would contact her periodically to check on her. Depends on the kid... If they have poor judgement or a hard time focusing on what they need to do, I'd probably pay for them to go to private school or find a way to get them into a suburban district... If they can stay on the ball and use their school's specialty to their advantage though, there's nothing wrong with MPS.So basically, just keep your eyes on the work, getting into a good college and advancing your future and you'll turn out fine, in MPS or not...
