well . for starters make sure you dont move to much.
you can sway alittle but dont be dramatic, swaying gently in beat to the music is good.
dont wear an excessive amount of music, and first of all, make sure the music you sing speaks to you, dont just sing it , have some emotion to it, just make sure its not fake "Im trying overly hard to impress you"look.

but of course, let your voice do all the impressing!!

I don't know about your middle school, but Chandler High School in Chandler, AZ is supposedly haunted. It is a very old school. People see a lady in prom attire on the roof. Supposedly her boyfriend left her on prom night in the '20's, and she committed suicide. Also, the janitors see a ghostly janitor in the halls at night while cleaning from the 20's also.

Go to your local walmart they usually have all the supply lists for the local schools.

If your school has a website you can probably get it from there also or make a trip to the school.

I just got out of sixth grade-here is all of my advice. ;]

Lockers were fun, I decorated mine for the holidays, like put a skeleton in there for Halloween, a mini Christmas tree for Christmas, put hearts on my locker for Valentine's Day, etc. You need to get a locker shelf-they keep you organized, plus they are pretty cute. I also kept TONS of magnets in there to hang up important papers, notes from friends, etc.

Be sure to be prepared-keep paper, pencils, pens, sticky notes, etc. close by-you never know what you'll need at random times. Everyone this year had large zip up binders, not backpacks, to carry around, they are cute and usually inexpensive at Wal-Mart.

Keep money around, too. You never know when you'll need to get anything, like lunch money, or my school sells jerky every day.

Have good behavior in the hallways-you want to impress teachers, if your school does it, you might even earn tickets to spend at school store.

Get to lunch as early as possible-people crowd around and cut in line to join friends and it can take up to thirty minutes. I hated lunch. Also, keep a sack lunch in your locker in case it runs out or you don't like what they are serving.

Get to class early, too-your choice of seat might be gone, and you could end up sitting next to a fat kid who sneezes a lot and smells like trout. You also don't want to be tardy-that could end up looking bad on your report card.

On the bus-keep your hands inside the windows, don't eat on the bus, also don't swear: you could end up in a lot of trouble.

Make teachers like you-even if you have your favorites and the ones you wish could drop off of the face of the earth, treat them all with the respect they deserve.

The biggest piece of advice I can give you is TURN YOUR ASSIGNMENTS IN ON TIME. No matter what. Always. Study hall makes you feel stupid, sitting in a room with a bunch of idiots who have at least 20+ missing papers and you only have 2. It's nerve-wracking. You don't want to go through it. And if you don't go to study hall, you usually end up in detention. If you have homework, GO TO SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP YOU. Don't get distracted.

My sixth grade year was kind of depressing. My best friend turned against me and I was forced to eat out in the hall. I know, pretty cliche, right? Well, as long as you keep CLOSE FRIENDSHIPS with all of your friends, old and new, and not ignore them, pretend to be mad at them just because another friend doesn't like them, try to be friends with those who hate you, make efforts to be nice to everyone, and not gossip or talk trash about ANYONE, your sixth grade year should be fine.

It'll be a blast-have fun!
