*Edit: Ok.. more info would be helpful. What city/state did you two live in when you knew her? Where was she last you knew? What would her approximate age be? Does she have brothers? It's easier to do a search on a man, as a lot of women change their names when they marry.

Call the school, there is likely someone who was working there then, or would have records they might be willing to look into for you. Maybe if you come with a card for her, in an unsealed stamped envelope, they would be willing to mail it for you if they have or can get her address.

Attend the school that is the closest to you and/or is the easiest to get to. Any extra time you can have is really great, middle school is going to be a bump up from elementary school, more teachers, more work, more studying.

This sounds like a matter to take to the school district administration offices. Sometimes these offices are on-site with one of the community's district schools and other times they have a building of their own. Try looking in your local phone book or on line for your school district's superintendent office and call there.
