In order to go to Stuyvesant or Bronx Science a child must reside in one of the 5 boroughs. Bayside in Queens has a large Asian population. It's a nice middle class area. Good luck on the exam.

yeah you have to get into the neighborhood one theres no choice. But you can do one thing. You can change your address like lie and tell them you live somewhere else. Like if you have a friend who live near a good school you can put her address down and they'll take your child. My friend she lived in Manhattan (the schools in queens) and she came to school cuz she had a fake address. and i know couple of people who did this too. But you have to be careful and not get busted...
