Look up your state's educational standards online. There will be a section for PE and approved gymnastics skills for the age level should be there. If you've never done gymnastics then your first concern must be the safety of the students. You can't put kids on a piece of equipment that you can't handle yourself. Keep them on the floor and maybe try some types of yoga poses.
