Jean Said:
How do you get a college scholarship ready in middle school? We Answered:
I'm a middle school student (well now entering 9th grade) and you can look up certain scholarships and some you can get even in middle school. A good way to start is local organizations that hand out scholarships. For example, this summer I am doing Project Regeneration, which is put on by the local Conservation Corps. I only get $500 but I also get 100 hours of community service, which at my new high school, helps me to get a scholarship at senior graduation. It all depends on where you live,For preparing for college, take (in high school) a foreign language and an art, the more classes you take Freshman year, the less you have to take Senior year. At my middle school, I took 2 years (1 high school year) of spanish, so I'm able to take an AP Spanish class as a Senior. Any programs like that might help you.
By the way, it's such a great thing to find somebody close to my age who cares about school as much as me. =)
