I need a science project?We Answered:
This is totally easy. Does Salt Water or Freshwater boil faster?Boiling means- which one reaches 180 degrees faster
Independent- salt water
dependent- the answer to your question
control- fresh water
any questions? LOL

Help preparing teaching demonstration for interview...?We Answered:
Every company uses different interview styles. Targeted Selection is a behavioral based interview style that has been around for awhile but is gaining in popularity because of its reliability. Here is a website that will help you answers in this format. Even if they dont use this style you will still benefit from learning how to answer Targeted Selection style.http://www.tspractice.com

Science Project Help!?We Answered:
Do a water powered botte launcher- this is what I did for mine:Topic: Science
Abstract: Unable to record findings as yet
Aim: In this scientific project, the aim is to construct a water bottle launch pad, that’s capable enough to fire a water pressure powered bottle into the air.
Hypothesis: My hypothesis, is that the pressurised water bottle, will go at least ten metres into the air vertically, and at least 60 metres lengthwise.
Diagram 1.2:
Independent Variable: In this practical, we (students) are changing the different designs of the launch pads, the amount of pumps we pump into the bottle, the different materials we are using and the exact amount, in ml, of water we are putting into the bottles.
Dependent Variable: The teachers and students are measuring the distance the rocket bottle goes, and the successfulness of the rocket launch pad design. We are also measuring the water that goes in and the pressure that’s being applied.
Controlled Variable(s): We are controlling the size of the water bottle (1.25L), the type of launch (yanking the stopper out after getting pumped [the bottle], and therefore releasing it). We are also controlling what time of day we launch from (day) and the type of stops and connector tubes we use.
Materials Used:
Three 40 by 7 by 4.5cm planks of redwood (hardwood)
Two 28 by 3 by 9 planks of pine
Two wires
10 screws
String
Circular saw
Screwdriver
Ruler
Method:
(1) I chose the pieces of wood and coagulated all necessary implements and materials in one spot.
(2) I drilled two holes in the middle of each of two planks of redwood.
(3) I then attached a plank of pine that went across both planks of redwood by screwing in screws with a screwdriver. It now looked like a capital H or a fat capital I.
(4) After this, I drilled two side-by-side holes in the middle of the plank of pine. Then, I attached the additional plank of pine vertically upon the plank I just made holes in, by drilling two screws into the given holes; from the bottom of the structure. It now resembled an H with a long nose.
(5) My dad, then cut a slice off, of the ‘nose” at a 45 degree angle using a circular saw.
(6) I then drilled two holes at the top of this sliced spot. I then affixed the final piece of redwood, onto the 45-degree slant, by screwing it in using two screws (we also drilled to holes onto he redwood as well.
(7) Following this action, I screwed two screws onto the end of the redwood situated on the slant, wide enough for the nose of the bottle to fit.
(8) Finally, we attached the wires, which we bent so that it would by circular, onto the sides of the plank of redwood, 10 and 15 cm from the two supporting screws. We did this by drilling very small holes onto the sides and then fitting the wires in. By doing this we enabled to ensure, that when launched, the bottle wouldn’t move left nor right.
launch the rocket by using a floor pump- I did mine- went for 35 metres!!

10 pts!-Middle-high school level science projects!! With actual question, not demonstration! Please help!!!!! ?We Answered:
How about something with psychological variables -- there are a lot of pencil/paper tests around that you could give people (look on the internet). You could look at mood (happy/sad -- or what is called positive and negative affect). You will need a reasonable number of people to do your activity.
Measure mood (current state)
Have one group do nothing
Have another group watch a funny clip
Have another group watch a boring/serious or sad clip (choose just one)
Measure mood again (current state)
See which 'treatment' (ie what the group did) changes mood for the better.
This would have a LOT of variables you could consider:
age
gender
mood before
treatment (what they did - nothing, funny clip, other clip)
mood after
You would have the opportunity to use proper statistics on this -- check out t-tests, chi squared (sounds like 'kai' squared), and maybe even ANOVA (analysis of variance).
(I think cheering people up helps society!)
Good Luck!
