You could investigate which disinfectant kills the most bacteria or what type of hand washing is the best. Another idea would be to see how temperature affects the amount and type of bacteria growth on certain foods such as meat. You might look to see how much bacteria is in dog saliva versus human saliva. You could look to see how much bacteria is present in reused water bottles. I heard of a project that studied whether there was more bacteria transfered from soaps that had their brand name stamped into the bar than those that were just flat bars of soap. Good luck!
