Team Building Activities For Middle School
Ruby Said:
Ivy League Schools? (long... sorry!)?We Answered:
Most top schools have need-blind admissions - they don't care if you can pay when they accept you, they figure you'll find some way to pay for it. A legacy helps a little, but not a lot - Harvard could fill their entire incoming class with legacies if they wanted to, but they don't. They also turn down thousands of 4.0 students, perfect SAT scorers, and valedictorians every year. Top grades and test scores are necessary, so keep up the good work, but you need to find some way to stand out as well. You'd be better off getting really involved in a few activities you're really passionate about than taking up every club, sport, and instrument out there.Olga Said:

Can I do all this by febuary? We Answered:
3 months is a fine amount of time if you practice every day. If i were you i would practice for maybe an hour a day instead of 30 minutes. I have danced for 9 years now and i practice every day at home for an hour and a half and i have dance 3 days a week. To get your stomach to touch the ground in a straddle the best thing to do is to sit in a straddle and then stretch to each leg 5 times and then crawl to the middle (go a little at the time). Another thing you can do to make your calves stronger is put your back against the wall and go down like you are sitting on a chair but you are really sitting on air and hold it for 3 eight counts and then come up and repeat. Also to get a stronger stomach try doing lunges and try standing up and then leaning your back as far as you can to the ground without your hands and you need to be arching your back. also try back-bends from standing and then pull yourself back up!good luck and i hope i helped!

should i switch schools?We Answered:
I would switch schools if I were you. Even at a big school, you can still be your own person and have an identity. Sure, maybe not everyone will know your name like they do at your school now, but you will definitely have a wider variety of friends and be exposed to more people. And if they have the clubs, sports, and classes that you want to take at the other school, what's holding you back? You can make new friends, especially if it's such a big school, and you can still keep in touch with your old friends.I think you misheard about colleges not liking it when students switch schools. While they wouldn't like for you to go from a prestigious prep school to the nearby public school (it would look like taking the easy way out), they would definitely look positively upon going from a school that doesn't fit your needs to one that does. That is even something you can explain to admissions when applying to college, and it could actually increase your chances of getting in because they will know that you are committed to your education and becoming a well rounded person.
Good luck!

How do you build up self confidence? We Answered:
Yup you definitely have self-esteem problems. However think about it , even the best players in whatever sports have off days where their teams lose because of errors.God bless your friend for making you stay.
My dear child you will fail at many many things in your life time, probably more than you will succeed at, but it's the starting over and learning from the failures that gives you self confidence.
Once you accomplish things and can congratulate yourself , not tear yourself down, you 'll begin to develop self-confidence.
You DON'T have to be perfect, nobody really ever is . You're actually trying too hard and screwing yourself up.
You have to decide that you are indeed WORTHY of being happy, being able to succeed, at finding your true purpose and passion and joy.
You're still young you're still learning, slow down , your attitude and happiness and outcomes are up to you and what you decide to do about them. Happiness doesn't come from outside things, neither does worthiness really, they both come from the inside, but only you can decide to be happy and be worthy. You're wasting so much time beating yourself up over every little thing.
