I don't know that school but I'll tell you how it was for me. I was really scared the night before school started and well I'm not a person that makes friends easily. My dad took me to my homeroom and I didn't know anybody so I was scared. The teacher was really nice and I didn't have trouble getting to my classes. Here are some tips:

*get a map from the school and look for your classes before you actually have the classes
*relax because you'll be fine. In a couple of weeks you'll be used to everything
*be friendly to people next to you if you don' want to talk then don't but be friendly if you do. You never know who might be your BFF. Mine turned out to be the girl sitting next to me
*Get to P.E. early just in case you need extra time to change

Good luck in 6th grade! don't worry it's different but it's okay. I'm going to 8th next year. :*)

I'm 100% sure the rules vary by district. With my district...
miss 3 you get a saturday class, and you keep getting saturday classes until you reach 6
miss 6 and you go to an alternative school
miss 12 and you have to redo the school year

well it was so long ago that i went to junior high that is what we called it back then when we went anyway as far as I know for now the Cox high school district is highly rated and the middle school in that district is called Great Neck Middle School people will tell you horror stories about certain schools and districts but it is rubbish trust me I went to VB schools my whole student career

well, most girls wear something flirty but NOT too sexy. If you're going into 6th then DO NOT try sexy. Trust me, you'll SURELY look like someone who's trying to show off your PRIVATE body parts. Try something pretty and simple. Skinny jeans or shorts can be sweet. Top it off with a cute tank top that's yellow or red or wear a simple blouse and cover it with a stylish jacket. Wear plain colored flats (silver flats are tasty). For bags, try something "in" and expensive (I use Louis Vuitton, Longchamp and Prada..............yes, I'm SPOILED). You should use some make-up. SOME. Or else you'll end up looking like a clown that's fresh from the circus. Some Blush and gloss will do perfectly. If you want to use mascara, use the waterproof type. Its NOT a pretty picture having black wet streaks running down your face whenever you sweat through your eyes (I'm not saying you WILL but its good to be prepared). I don't know your style so this is all I can do for you
