I could give a flying leap for being involved in school organizations. Any half-wit with a personality can do that. What I would be worried about is that you have never held a job. Get one. Even if it's at McDonalds. If you can get one that uses tools, like at a golf course, running for tools for an auto mechanic, or cutting lawns, that it is all the better. The last thing we need is another 4.0 who has no practical experience and doesn't know what end of a screwdriver is the business end. Even take a course thru a local vo-tech on small engine repair. If you have never worked, and worse, if you have never built or maintained something, the only thing you will be good for is to get a PhD and either work in a research lab for the government or teach other clueless 4.0s, because you can't design, you can't troubleshoot, and you can't operate. I know it sounds harsh, but it is a fact.
